Here is a second vignette I wrote during lunch break.
Now we have a name for Lynne's husband and Tara's dad: he is called Stewart.
Anyway, I like writing these snippets, because they help me get a feel of the characters.
Whatever will come out of this thing, I'm enjoying myself a lot, and I needed after the last few weeks.
I hope you like these shorts too.
Lynne fell back on the mattress, panting, and shivered as her sweat evaporated in the night breeze. By her side, Stewart clicked his lighter and lit a cigar. She pulled the sheets up and snuggled against his side.
She lifted a leg, massaging his half-erect cock with the soft skin on the inside of her high. He sighed and cupped her buttock with his hand, holding her close.
“Give me five minutes,” he hummed, bathing her in the aromatic smoke.
“You know I missed you,” Lynne replied.
They enjoyed each other’s touch for a few minutes, in the bedroom the moonlight had turned monochrome.
Then Lynne ran her finger across Stewart’s chest and laid her head on his shoulder. “There’s one thing—” she said, softly. “Something I need to tell you about.”
Her leg moved again under the sheet. He shifted, tightening their embrace.
“What is it?” he asked, in a low voice. “Is about Tara, her school?”
Lynne sighed and smiled. “No, our daughter is fine.”
“I was so sorry when I couldn’t make it to her last match—” he said.
“It’s OK,” Lynne said. She could feel his heart under the palm of her hand. “Our daughter is fine.”
She reached over and took the cigar from his lips. She took a hard hit, and then placed it back.
“It’s about me,” she sighed, exhaling.
Stewart bent his head and kissed her shoulder. “You are making me worry,” he said. “What is going on? You’ve been to the doctor?”
She chuckled, and kissed his chin. “No, no doctor.”
“What then?” he asked.
Lynne closed her eyes. “I’ve met a woman.”
He was silent for a moment, and she could feel his muscles relax just as his cock stiffened. “Oh,” he said.
They were silent for a few moments. She took another toke from the cigar and just enjoyed his hands on her skin.
“Is this serious?” he asked.
“She’s very beautiful,” Lynne said.
“That’s not what I asked,” he said quietly. “You know I never doubted your tastes.”
“Her name’s Stella,” Lynne said. “She’s just moved in from—” she sighed. “Somewhere east. She’s here with her daughter, that’s a bit of a handful. We met because she needs help to adjust, and her girl is giving her headaches, and we talked a while, and she’s really smart, and—oh, believe me, she’s absolutely gorgeous. She’s got this full head of fire-red hair—”
“The redhead,” he said. “I think Carla mentioned her.”
“Of course she would,” she snapped.
Stewart laughed. “Gosh, babe, it IS serious!”
Lynne pinched his nipple and he howled and laughed. “Easy!”
“It’s not a joke, you know? We’re talking about my feelings, you big lumbering brute!”
They spent two minutes laughing and holding on to each other.
“She’s a writer,” Lynne said.
“And you’ve got a crush on her.”
She sighed. “It was ages I did not get it this bad,” she said. “Remember Nina, back when I was in drama school? It’s been forever. I feel stupid, and I don’t like feeling stupid.”
He caressed her breast. “There’s nothing wrong with it. It doesn’t have to go like it did with Nina.”
“Of course not,” Lynne sighed.
He placed the cigar in the ashtray on the night stand. “What do you plan to do?”
Lynne took a deep breath. “I think it would be fun to, you know, get her to join us.”
Stewart whistled softly. “This is a little more than a crush,” he said.
“I’ve never been so certain. She’s one of us, or she can become one of us—”
“You sound like you are the Queen of the Vampires,” he chuckled.
Again she pinched his nipple. “What the fuck, Stewart!” she said in a theatrically pissed off tone.
He stopped laughing. "OK, OK; sorry--" he snorted. “What does Carla say?”
Lynne snorted in turn. “She’s all for it of course. You know her. She’d fuck anything that breathes.”
"That's he reason we love her."
"Indeed," she chuckled.
“And you are really convinced this Stella might be all right with our arrangements?”
“Oh, I’m sure she’d fit right in!” Lynne said. “I only need to, you know, get her to try and—oh, I don’t know. This is the worst part, this not knowing what might—I mean, fuck, it’s not a certainty, OK?”
Stewart rolled on his side and looked at her. She moved to face him, her leg up over his thigh. “You will make it work,” he said. “When you get that look in your eyes, I know you can do anything you set your mind to.”
“And would it be all right with you?”
He ran his hand along her rib-cage, down her side and over her hip. “You really need to ask?”
She leaned over and kissed him, a gentle brush of the lips that turned into something a lot closer, deeper, wet.
“What about her daughter?” he said when they let go of each other’s mouth.
She grinned evilly. “You’re making plans already?” she asked.
He grinned back but then he shook his head, serious. “No, really. What if your Stella comes along, but her daughter doesn’t? You can’t just go and break a family up like that. Not if you are really in love with this woman. You can’t do that to her and to her kid.”
Lynne took a deep breath, pushed against him, pressing her boobs against his pecs, and once again dissolved into a long, intimate kiss.
“You know I love you, don’t you?” she whispered.
He patted her buttock. “Well, it’s good for you to remind me sometimes.”
She rubbed herself against him. “I love you,” she repeated.
She crawled over him, stretched an arm, and retrieved the cigar. With two puffs she got it going again, and then she blew a mouthful of smoke in his face.
“But I wouldn’t worry about the girl. Penny’s the name. From what Tara told us, she’s halfway there already. She might enjoy the ride, and even give us a hand defrosting her mom.”
Stewart laid back and she sat astride him.
“You’ve got it all planned out, haven’t you?”
She shrugged, and her boobs bounced. He placed his hands on her nipples.
“Let’s say I have a few ideas of how we’ll go about this,” she grinned.
"Maybe youtell me later?" he asked, caressing her nipples as they stiffened.
She changed position and took him in with a sigh.
"Maybe later," she grinned.

i can't wait for this to be a full blown story. These little vignettes are driving me crazy.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I take back what I said. This too works as a romantic subplot.
ReplyDeleteOh Tamara! You captured a moment of intimacy perfectly. And the commitment of a married couple to be there for each other. WOW.
