So, let’s talk about it.
Paul in his comment got most of what I’d like to do about this thing, and added a few nice bits. Thank you!
I want a group of people, sort of an extended family, that is totally debauched and that yet presents a perfectly “normal” facade to the rest of the world.
In the eyes of their neighbors and colleagues and friends they are just guys, maybe even a little dull. They are respected, and they are active members of the community. They interact normally with the unsuspecting "mundanes".
And YES! they need to be a loving, affectionate bunch of people.
They are actually good people enjoying in private an intensely hedonistic alternative lifestyle.
As for the characters, so far we have these two families:
- Lynne, her yet unnamed husband and their daughter Tara
- Carla, her husband Art, and their son Junior
Let’s see…
. Lynne is blonde, statuesque...
Hmmm... what’s wrong with having big boobs, Eugene? I have big boobs!
LOL!
But yes, I get it: she can't be too showy or publicly slutty for this to work.
And by the way: I used a photo of pinup goddess October Divine to illustrate yesterday's post because she's gorgeous, and she can be both really classy and really vulgar, and that's how I see Lynne.
I'd love for Lynne to have an aura of something that "mundanes" don't get, but those in her community instantly pick up.
But back on track...
. Lynne is blonde, statuesque, highly intelligent and a totally sexual creature.
She’s in her mid forties but still fit and active.
She used to have a job but retired "to be a mom and a whife".
She goes to the gym and does some work for the community.
She is the core of this extended family, and is in fact an absolutely shameless bisexual wanton.
She is also absolutely in love with her husband, and is a loving mother.
. Her husband is still an unknown element. I even need to find him a name. But I see him as someone that is sometimes away for his work. Again, he’s absolutely devoted to his wife (even when he swings with her best friend) and a good father for his daughter. He is in his late forties.
.Tara is sixteen, blonde and pretty.
She’s also an exhibitionist and a tease, and is about to start experimenting various things.
Given the way Lynne brought her up and Carla's influence, she has a perfect slut mindset but is smart enough to keep it undercover.
She's been a smoker since she was 12. Some of her friends know and share her habit, but otherwise she's a closet smoker.
She goes to Catholic school (because… oh, come on! What else?!) and is in the top percentile, an ace student.
She is popular but not part of the queen bees clique.
She plays in the school's volleyball team.
She still doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up: a veterinary, or maybe a journalist.
NOTE
Given Lynne’s age, it’s likely that Tara is not her first child.
Another daughter in her early 20s, maybe?
Where is she?
It stands to reason she was raised just as Tara was, with zero inhibition and an open and enthusiastic attitude towards sex. How does she fit in the family now?
We need to bringher into the story at some point.
. Carla is a curvy brunette in her late thirties/early forties and is an absolute sensualist: she’s the classic “try everything (at least) once” sort of creature.
She’s more complicated than Lynne: she’s much more enthusiastically into substances and fetishes and roleplaying and all that.
Has a big collection of sex toys.
She has a part time job - some kind of job where the risk of being discovered for what she is gives her an extra thrill.
. Art is in his early forties, and is Carla’s “trophy hubby”: good looking, always ready for action and game for absolutely anything.
He is an architect/designer.
He works in a big company, where he has a position of responsibility.
. Junior is a nerdy adolescent and an enthusiastic masturbator.
He has the hots for Tara (that teases him mercilessly) and is into all the things a nerdy kid is into: videogames, girly magazines, anime tentacle porn, etc.
He also has the hots for Lynne (that also teases him, in a cougar-ish fashion, and would be quite willing to pop his cherry)
His mother would be happy to see him bed either Tara or Lynne (or both together - and she’d be happy to participate), but really she hopes he’ll find a nice girl and go steady (and bring her into the fold, of course)
This, for starters.
I’d love to expand this “Addams Family of Sex” with other members (like Lynne’s other daughter), and then play on three fronts:
- their everyday “normal” life, interacting with unsuspecting people
- their enthusiastic debauchery and hedonism
- the family expands with a few “special projects”, like:
. Lynne and Carla think it would be nice to have a redheaded girlfriend to enjoy the occasional lesbian threesome ( = corruption story)
. A schoolmate of Tara comments Tara's dad’s a hunk, and she decides to fix things so her friend and her dad will hook up
. Carla’s plans for Junior’s girlfriend
What do you guys say?
Please comment, offer ideas, add things.
I will reply in separate posts because Google hates me.
Also, I need a title for this project.
I am open to suggestions.

>what’s wrong with having big boobs, Eugene?
ReplyDeleteIt's not the size that matters, but how you describe them and in what context that description appears. Our mind is excellent at making associations and "corollaries", so if you introduce her boobs as "Lynne sighed and fell forward, leaning on the table, her melon-sized tits spilling out of the pink and black fabric with a sensual swish" - that doesn't paint the right picture. So you basically need to start with a totally normal scene, like for instance Lynne meeting a neighbor at the supermarket and acting like a totally decent and moral person and then break the reader's expectations of what she is by having her change her behavior the instance she's inside her house.
P.S. personally I'd like to see Tara corrupting a schoolmate, who doesn't realize that Tara is a debauched vixen (because Tara's as good at hiding her real self as her family).
P.P.S. This is less Adams Family and more Stepford Wives, I think - the Adams' never hid their true selves from anyone.
Also, I wasn't talking just about the boobs. Consider this description of Lynne:
ReplyDelete"so blonde her hair were almost white"
I associate this with "peroxide-bleached hair" (perhaps you meant something else, in which case this is a "lost in translation" kind of thing), which hints that a person is a non-conformist. She might need to wear a wig, or she could be introduced in a normal setting, like the example above, and her hair color being unusual would simply be considered a quirk of character - an eccentricity to an otherwise morally upstanding character by both her neighbors and the reader (until you show otherwise).
Women having blonde hair almost white is completely normal for women. Most people just it as a women wanting to hide thier age and nothing sexual in nature
DeleteI suppose you're right for a certain definition of "almost white". The associations my mind brings up upon encountering that phrase is the "dyed like a cheap hooker" kind. The context in which the phrase was encountered here may have had a non-zero influence either.
DeleteI am glad that I was correct about how you saw the story setting up. And, of course, I don't have nearly the imagination that you have displayed in developing the characters, so I really don't have much more to add. But I do like Eugene's idea about Lynne wearing a wig, done in a completely conventional hairstyle and in an almost unnoticeable color, that when she takes it off reveals hair with streaks of purple, and shaved on half of her head. Or something like that. And yes, please do have them deeply, romantically, totally committed to being in love. When people are at their happiest when they are acting like fucktoys, they are being profoundly human. Then if they share that happiness with the ones that they love, they enhance their love exponentially.
ReplyDeleteAnd, of course, you're so good at corruption, so there definitely needs to be at least one character who is corrupted.
